I am from New Jersey originally, though Alexandria is home now and it is where Advokars got built.
Before any of this I served in the Army. That is where I learned what it actually means to show up for people, to have someone's back, and to do the right thing when nobody is checking. I carried that into the car business and it never quite fit the job description.
I love sales, which sounds like a strange thing to admit in a company built to protect people from salespeople. But the part I love is the conversation, the reading of a room, the puzzle of getting to a number that works. Pointed at a dealership's profit margin, that skill made me good at a job I did not feel good about. Pointed at the buyer, it turned into this.
Outside of work I am a movie guy, unreasonably so, and I will happily talk your ear off about one long after you have stopped asking.
Everyone on this page was picked the same way. Not for a resume, but because I would trust them to sit across from a finance manager on behalf of someone in my own family.
You should never have to walk into that room alone.
